I started in 2007 with my husband specialising in hand made bespoke items of clothing for people who want to buy something special for babies. Now my husband has gone out to work and I am concentrating on jumpers and hats for grown ups, although I still do the odd thing for little people.I make everything I sell myself, by hand. It takes ages! http://www.folksy.com/shops/TheRainbowSheep email rainbow-baby@live.com

We have moved!
We moved to Scotland last week after a job offer. All very sudden, so no more Shropshire markets. We still have stock and can supply things by post and knitting commissions are still being undertaken. New number is 07748 707242.

January 2010
Another year over. The baby is 3 so not really a baby anymore! Our next market is this Saturday, 9th January, the Fair in the Square in Shrewsbury. We are having a sale of baby jumpers and knitted slippers for babies and children as we have decided not to do them anymore except by special request! We don't sell many and feel that people think we are just a baby stall, when we do lots of other things as well. We are going to specialise in hats of all types for all ages, felted booties and soaps, and a few other things like teacosies and mittens depending on season. Of course if anyone wants anything in particular, we are happy to make it.
Well, looking forward to -3 degrees on Saturday....

Lovely Malvern!
Yesterday we did the Malvern Christmas Lights fair - it was amazing! Organised by Steve Boffy, and our best event yet.
Still erratic internet access though so limited entries on the blog sadly. Hopefully more pictures some day soon. Our next big weekend is next weekend when we have 2 days at the Frost fair at Attingham Park and Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth xmas fairs at the same time. Colin has his first go at manning the stall and he's scared, so if you see him, be kind!

Friends old and new
Met some lovely people over the past couple of weeks. Some I met at other folk festivals (the rainbow booties are being done later in the week!)and a lovely lady whose son received one of my hats for her little grandson and was thrilled! I love hearing where our things have gone and seeing them on people!
A break from fairs for a couple of weeks while we get back to making whilst living in a caravan. Knitting on the cliffs at Brixham is my next stop :)
